tides

Good morning / afternoon

Me and my reading group are learning about the tides

A spring tide is caused by moon's gravity pulling the water towards the moon
it is also called a solar tide.
A neap tide is when the moon and the sun and the earth are not in line instead the moon and the sun are at right angles to the Earth.

    Hi Sean, I love the diagram you have made to show the tides, it really helped me to understand the difference between them. Are there any other differences between the two you can list?
