Kia ora ladies and gentlemen boys and girls,
Today I am going to tell you about my poetry,
I have to choose a season for poetry writing,
this is what it looks like.
I am a Year 7 student in the Uru MÄnuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Kia ora Sean. I can feel the winter coming in your poem...brrr! I like that you have 2 longer parts and a shorter one in the middle. It keeps it interesting. Is it your favourite season? I prefer spring or autumn. Keep up the good work. :)
ReplyDeleteAhhh... so descriptive! What an excellent poem Sean. You have really manipulate your reader's feelings by using descriptive adjectives and like Diane I felt a bit chilly after reading it. Glad you're a poet... and now I know it ....
ReplyDeleteAwesome blog,
Miss D
Good afternoon Sean. Thanks for sharing your poem.I'm just thinking,it won't be much longer before winter is here.Hopefully we get a good dumping of snow.Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWow Sean
ReplyDeleteThe first 3-4 words in you opening sentence really set the atmosphere of the poem Awesome chose of words!!
I also really like "last leaves fall", makes me feel despondent and really describes the bleakness of the winter to come. You have been able to describe what I can see and also how I should feel.
Thanks for sharing this with us.
ps......I noticed all the capital letters and full-stops too
