Describe Writing

For writing we are working on describing pictures.  We need to use lots of adjective and similes.  I really like my piece of writing about a creepy house.  I hope you enjoy it. (Miss Scott helped me a little bit with this.)

Dark night surrounded the lonely house.  It’s broken boards hung down and the weak moonlight shone
off the shattered glass that littered the ground.  An eerie red glow shone out.

The white fog filled the air.  It reached up towards the house.  Who knows what terrors were hidden
beneath it.  The fog touched my skin and goosebumps erupted all over me.

Vampire bats surrounded the house like vultures surrounding dead animals. And trees towering like
monsters near the house.  The bear branches looking like skeleton fingers.

the dead. this is not for children aged 8 and under

hi this is  a story I wrote

One day there was a man called John and he loved animals one day the
mailman found John dead on the floor and mud tracks lead into the jungle, he
showed me, the park ranger. he said they looked like puma tracks all the way
to a cave well mister it's getting dark you better get back there has been reports
of lion caves, wait  i think you found lion tracks, not puma tracks,
This cave has ancient writing on it, "you will be safe with me" then we stopped
and turned around the lion was out, "run go away." I grabbed my whip and I
signaled the other rangers Richly and James with my walkie Torquay and said
"bring the caged truck weave got a cat on the loose." "okay where on it." they
said
